About

Todd Sullivan started his first business in Galveston, TX, at the age of 13. A landscaping enterprise he operated with his 8-year-old twin brothers, William and John, he went on to build a network of businesses with his siblings. The family of companies include firms engaged in Gulf Coast marine terminal development and operations; marine construction and dredging; commercial site development; foam insulation; residential, commercial, and retail development. Todd Sullivan and his brothers also own and operate a coastal construction and dredging business that forged an innovative five-year contract for maintenance dredging of the Port of Galveston. Another family company provides international and domestic disaster recovery services.

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering at Texas A& M University in College Station, TX, Todd Sullivan joined Huddleston & Co., Inc., in Houston as a petroleum engineer. There, he honed his skills in revenue forecasting, estimating oil and gas reserves, reviewing business plans, and in analyzing prospects. During this period, Mr. Sullivan began investing in property in the gentrifying, historic Houston Heights, where he and his brothers later became the neighborhood’s dominant home builder.

The brothers’ other companies include Sullivan Environmental Services, Inc.; Sullivan Land Services; Sullivan Brothers Builders; Evia Partners; Callan Marine, Ltd.; and Texas International Terminals. Based in Houston and Galveston, TX, the firms engage in projects in several states and in the Caribbean. The various enterprises employ 250 people, succeeding through the brothers’ unique philosophy of serial entrepreneurship. Rather than build and sell their businesses, they incentivize strong General Managers to perfect day-to-day operations, freeing the brothers to capitalize on other business opportunities as they present themselves. The system has led Todd Sullivan and his brothers of Galveston, TX, to continued success.
